ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

From: Dave Leske, August 2011

Opus 1913 was removed from the State Theater in Hanover, PA (original installation) sometime in the 1940’s (and that’s an educated guess). It was then installed at the Fairview Church in Alabama. At some point they stopped using it and it was heavily water and squirrel damaged.

It was subsequently rescued by the Birmingham, Alabama chapter of ATOS and they are storing it.

The State Theater (now known as the Hanover Theater) closed in 1986, but there is restoration movement taking shape which hopes to return the instrument to original location.
