I cajoled Bill Brown for several years to sell me the Center console which was sitting doing nothing
in his warehouse in Phoenix for years.
Actually, I think the Center console has a more useful distriubtion of stop positions than the five-manual consoles WurliTzer built.
Finally after several years, Bill consented to sell me the console, four ranks of pipes and 12 ranks of chests
which were needed to rack the seperated four ranks of pipes, the balanced volume cathedral chimes,
49 note compass xylophone, and the 25 HP blower (which blower I sold to Garett Shanklin, which is powering his big organ).
Once NORCAL pledged to keep the console pneumatically operated, I gave all the above to the club.
(All [as far as I know] Radio City ranks were a minimum of 73 pipes and the chests were, I believe 102" long,
instead of the customary 88" WurliTzer chests.
Bill Schlotter rebuilt the chests, extrating the chests necessary for the 4 center ranks, whatever other ranks they wanted,
and reconstructed the left over chests as surplus.
