George Wright is credited with starting the revival of interest in theatre organ music in the early 1950s after several decades of disinterest by the public. He played for PATOS twice: Once at the South Hills Theatre in 1977 on a 2/6 Wurlitzer and then again in 1978 on the newly installed PATOS Wurlitzer which was a 2/10 at the time. |
