Edgar Gress directed a major restoration of the 26-rank,
4-manual Wurlitzer organ at the Metropolitan Theatre in Boston (now
the Wang Center), completing the project in 1958 and leaving the
instrument better than new.

I do remember Ed at the Metropolitan swapping the Wurlitzer Brass Trumpet at 8' rank for a
splendid fiery French Trumpet at 16', 8', 4'.
That, combined with the Tuba Mirabilis at 16', 8', 4', and the English Post Horn at 16', 8'
made a magnificent grand reed chorus.
