ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

From: Glenn W. Vandiver, June 1999

Opus 1419 was removed from the Clinton Street Appolo Theater by a J.F.Halley then of Ringoes, N.J. in the late 60s I think. All chamber parts were recovered but the console was never found. I am told the building was destroyed days later. Parts were stored at his home and he subsquently found a console from a like size instrument.

The entire package was bought in the late 70s by myself and moved to Mesa, Az. The next four years were spent restoring and installing it in my home. It is presently playing and consist of the original specifications minus the piano (never had) but with a added Post Horn. This can be varified by Ron Rhode or Lyn Larsen as they both advised me during restoration.

The instrument is for all practical purposes intact and still playing
