ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

From: Bill Rowland, September 2009

Here in Tulsa we had a Coliseum from the early '30s to 1952 when it burned to the ground. It had a Wurlitzer arena organ which was used a LOT. Our organ tech chief Phil Judkins remembers it and says when it was about fifteen years old they had to re-do the console. The sharps (black keys) on the pedals had worn down even with the naturals and some of the ivories on the accompaniment manual were worn down through the ivory into the wood!
