Wurlitzer 2049 - Assumption Church Buffalo NY.
Here is some recent information.
- Chancel division by Delaware Organ company added ca 1966 (~5 rks)
- Console moved from gallery to chancel at same time - juryrigged to
play both gallery and chancel.
- Console replaced with 4 manual console sometime in the late 1980s,
builder unknown.
Status is - still playing.

(This was my parent's home church and I am an organist hence have
followed the status of this organ since I was a child. It was a
gorgeous instrument in an acoustically wonderful huge neo-romanesque
church. It never sounded anything like a theatre organ.
