Marion Flint's Notes:

PIPES & PERSONALITIES Online

November 1998  (updated 11/1//98)
Welcome to the Tenth (Monthly) Edition of PIPES & PERSONALITIES Online
(Comprehensive 1998-99 Concert Season)

The  geographical organization of Theatre Organ "Promotions" shows the proximity of  venue locations in the United States and Canada.  Theatre organ enthusiasts are often  interested  in several venues within an area.  Therefore, the listing is not alphabetical.

PIPES & PERSONALITIES Online will be updated and amended frequently.  Venues, dates, and artist listings are newsworthy items.  We encourage readers to contribute  program listings and news items, and to submit data upgrades and appropriate phone contacts,  to be included for Internet publication.

We hope to raise public awareness.  We  encourage readers  to attend the programs of our theatre organ associates, or become involved in a theatre or pipe organ restoration effort.  Before making  travel plans, contact the sponsoring organization for changes or our unintentional errors.

The diversity of theatre pipe organ enthusiasts' musical interests is reflected in a number of classical and electronic program listings, which have been requested by those who travel.

Marion Flint, Editor

The  Editor is solely responsible for the "Promotions" in PIPES & PERSONALITIES Online.  Organizations listed send their official newsletters and promotion sheets,  and public relations directors  maintain this "Promotions" feature on their mailing lists.  Phone contacts  have been gathered from official publications.  Dates, times, artists are checked as thoroughly as possible.   The Editor regrets any errors which may occur.  Readers are encouraged to communicate information and concerns.
