At Lower Slaughter Manor Hotel, Gloucestershire

Upper and Lower Slaughter are two very pretty little villages between Bourton On The Water" and Stowe On The Wold in the Cotswolds.
The name comes from Slough meaning the muddy place, which it certainly isn't today
