BODDAM STATION (PHOTOS)

Boddam Station. First Train on the 2nd Aug, 1897

After passenger closure, Freight is still running. Goods depot and wagon on the right.
(GNSRA Collection)

Boddam Station looking rather run down but still quite complete. Interesting in that the carriage and loco shed was built right up to
the edge of the station platform. The run-round loop has been removed.

Another Ebay find. This photo is for sale, without the water mark through the middle.

Interesting view from Stirling Hill. Possibly the only phto showing the station site layout. The line is closed as bridge in the center of the photo has bee demolished. However on the far left you can see
the signal box, where the line split between the station, Goods Yard and the loco depot, where you also see the water tower. The turntable was behind that. The small quarry is where the memorial to
RAF Boddam is today.
