North end in 1996 with a 158 Unit departing for Inverness. The wall is the perimeters
of the new Denburn road widening, which has reduced the railway to a very narrow
corridor. In the background is the single arch Union Street bridge and the shops built
over the station in 1964 and to the left of the shops is the Trinity Shopping center.
The north end refuse is seen on the near right.

Left: The Denburn in April 2000. Shows the railway having been reduced to just two tracks.
The track on the left is a refuse while the other is the single track mainline.
Right: an Evening Express clipping as the Denburn road was in 1964. This view is looking
towards the station from Rosemount viaduct, seen in the background in the first photo.
