Some chemicals are not postable e.g. Ammonia (item 58). These may be sent by a different
carrier.
Packing costs 40p per order. Carriage will be charged at cost.
Prices are per 10g or 10 mL, order what you want in multiples of 10g and the price will
be in proportion.
Most of these chemicals are solids and some may be sent in plastic bags. These are light
and cheap assuming you have your own container. If you don't have a suitable container
already please say on your order that a plastic bag won't do.
Orders will normally include safety data sheets (MSDS) where we have them. Most of these
are from the USA, although there are some English ones. They contain first aid notes,and
other useful information if you allow for the U.S. origin.
They are supplied for information and to guide your normal good sense in chemicals
handling. They are not intended to meet any specific regulatory requirements. Don't
throw them away since we will try not to send repeats with future orders. If you want
one that we haven't sent please ask and we will try to get it. It shouldn't cost more
than the postage. If you have Internet access, fire up your favourite search engine and
you will find several places you can get them along with general safety and handling
information.
Many chemicals go under a variety of names, the ones used here are those that have
previously appeared on the CRC list, if we have used an unfamiliar name, or if you are
not sure about something in the list, ask and we will try to find answers to your
questions. The bill will normally be sent with the order.
