9. RULES. A copy of the rules shall be supplied to every member of the club. A proposal for altering any of the rules, must be made in writing to the Hon. Secretary and endorsed by at least three paid up members. Any such proposal to be considered either at an EGM called especially for the purpose (as provided for in rule 8) or at the AGM if more convenient.

10. PROPOSITIONS. All nominations and propositions for the A.G.M.shall be accepted if given to the Hon. Secretary a minimum of twenty one days before the date of the meeting, signed by two members of the Club as proposer and seconder.

11. EMERGENCIES. In the event of anything occurring and not provided for, or not clear in the foregoing rules, the NEC shall have the power to deal with the same at their discretion.

12. DISSOLUTION (1). The Club may be dissolved only by the consent of at least 75% of the members by a postal vote before an E.G.M. called for that purpose. Any such meeting shall appoint a liquidator who will distribute any remaining funds to paid up members via their Area Co-ordinators.

12a. In the event of rule 12 being actioned upon, only members with at least five consecutive years fully paid up membership to the date of the EGM shall be eligible to receive any distribution of funds, this clause being applicable to members joining after 12th, April 1997.

13. AREA Co-ORDINATORS. Co-ordinators of the Areas are appointed by the N.E.C. They should organise the activities of the C.R.C. within their Areas. They should provide lists of members and annual balance sheets. In the event of the resignation of a Co-ordinator, the Area funds will become the property of the N.E.C. until a new Co-ordinator is appointed.

14. AMENDMENTS. (1). No person shall sit on any committee, or take part in any Club policy making, or shall put forward or second any resolution unless he or she has paid their current subscription to the Club.

15. DISSOLUTION (2). Any resolution affecting the major aims/objectives of the Club or disposal of the Club`s financial assets to be approved by a Postal Ballot of all paid up members.

16. The Club shall be affiliated to the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain though it's membership of the Central Association of Camera Clubs.

C. R. C. COMPETITION RULES

1. Only fully paid up members of the C.R.C. are eligible to enter Club competitions.

2. All entries will consist of entrants own work. Any professional assistance given to any entrant in any form in the preparation of colour slides will result in disqualification.

3. A maximum of 5 slides may be entered for each competition and must have been taken within 3 years of the date of the competition.

4. All entries must be correctly spotted. Entrants number and the slide title is the only information allowed on the slide.

5. A winning slide may not be entered in the same competition again, but may be entered in a competition of a higher status; i.e. a slide winning a monthly competition may be entered in the "Slide of the Year" or "National Slide of the Year" competition.

These rules of competition shall apply to all National or Area competitions. The rules may be altered or amended at any time, under emergencies, by the N.E.C., given 28 days notice with valid reasons signed by 2 members of the Club as proposer and seconder.

As amended, for a period of 1 year, at the AGM 17th April 1999.
