EDITORIAL Much has been said about the reduction of Home-brew workers in our ranks. With this in mind yours truly decided to venture into this which up to now has appeared an ‘Awsome’ procedure. However with much assistance from out technical bids I hope to come up with some results. Whatever, they may be over the coming months. I had in fact given consideration to trying this work for some time but have been put off by the uncertainty of my experiences to tackle it successfully. What I hope to prove by this is to ‘Hopefully’ encourage others among you to have a go yourselves. After all, isn’t that what the Club is all about. We began as the CR50 Club with the aims of furthering the experience in home-processing of Reversal film, mainly by working from scratch by mixing up working formula from raw chemicals. So, watch this space folks, a complete NOVICE is about to take the plunge. An Agenda has been drawn up for the Committee Meeting to take place at Ronkswood Hospital Worcester where Brian works for Saturday Nov. 9th. at 12.30. (This is a suggested date and may be changed to suite the convenience of the greater number to be able to attend. I would like to repeat Brian’s request for you all to give serious thought to coming up with some ideas and passing them on to your Area Leader or Brian or myself for full discussion. The Posts of Hon Secretary and Publicity Officer really must be filled as soon as possible to keep the continuity of the Club going. Finally. Over the
coming weeks please give much thought to the proposed Central Committee
Meeting and send your views to us for consideration. We are entering another
of these difficult periods when changes have to be met for the future
success of the C. R. C. and need the response from all of you. The Areas where
you may be able to help is in Publicity, Secretary/chairman and information
on general improvements all round. Here’s to a successful Winter season of Photography. |
