Don Simmons b.circa 1910 - d.1985
His lightning and thunder style was appreciated and copied by many local Pipe Organ enthusiasts, including several who were privileged to take lessons from him in the '60s, '70s and 80's.
Those master tapes of his recording sessions over the years that were left following an estate sale after his death were unfortunately destroyed.
