West's Theatre (a.k.a. West's Olympia), Adelaide
West's Theatre in Hindley Street, which opened on 5 December, 1908 [Dylan Walker, "Adelaide's Silent Nights", Canberra, 1995, p.131], is rumoured to have contained a single-manual photoplayer during the 1910s and/or 1920s. No details of the instrument, nor even confirmation of its existence, have yet come to light.
