Greetings, folks, from the Bone Doctor.

Welcome to the home of The Walnut Hill Mighty WurliTzer! We are beginning a project with John Tay that will bring about a new set of theatre organ SoundFonts. These will be fresh samples of his creation and our editing and, together, we hope to give the VTPO world a much needed shot in the arm. These fonts will be directly compatable with Jim Henry's Mighty MidiTzer program. Stay tuned for further developements.

Greetings, folks, from the Bone Doctor.

Every now and again, we get letters from TPO players submitting work. This letter was sent to us by a fellow named John Tay and the full text follows:

"Hi Bone Doctor,

For the past 2 years or so, I've been working on soundfonts, using samples recorded on an expanded Style D WurliTzer, that could be used with Jim Henry's MidiTzer. The two most important tremmed stops, IMHO, are the Tibia and Vox Humana. I finally have a halfway decent Tibia soundfont which I used to record a short portion of the song Crazy that I would like you to post on your web site so others can hear and comment, if they so wish.

Tom Hoehn sent me the MIDI file and gave me permission to use it as a demo. I only used that part of the file that I thought was most appropriate for the Tibia. Please give credit to Tom for the MIDI file or post it with his other songs.

After you have it on the site, could you please send me the URL so I can let the various lists know what I've been doing and where they can hear a sample of my work."

Well, John, consider it done. By the way, that is one crazy Tibia, indeed. If you want to email John Tay, his address is HMRM461@aol.com.

  • 01. Crazy Tibia 8+4, a short sample of a wooden Tibia rank. Playing time: 0:33, file size: 333KB, bit rate: 81KB/sec.

Greetings, folks, from the Bone Doctor.

We had 800 hits in our first 30 days of operation. That makes us one of the most visited TPO sites in the world and we thank you, our many friends. New files have been posted at TPO soundfonts and Walnut Hill VTPO. The J. Tyson Forker Memorial 4/32 WurliTzer Theatre Pipe Organ photo at Walnut Hill VTPO is now available full size. Greetings, folks, from the Bone Doctor.

A new group has been launched at Yahoo! by Kimmy McCormick. It is called the TPO Widows Club. This little place is for all the disgruntled companions of TPO players to air their rants, etc. Check it out and have some fun! She takes in folks male or female, young or old, married or not. All you have to do to become a member is have a story to tell.

Greetings to everyone from the Bone Doctor.

Our first month of operation comes to a close. We had 343 visitors in April. This made us one of the top ranking TPO sites on the internet! Thanks to all for your interest and helping us make our first month a rousing success. We could not have done it without you.
