Our second organ to be featured is the George Wright Memorial 4/21 Mighty WWurliTer Theatre Pipe Organ installed at Grant Union High School in Sacramento, California.
This legendary machine was designed by the father of the Horseshoe Sound, George Wright, who graduated from this high school. Thie instrument was later named after him.

The console is a replacement for the original Kilgan console which was tragicly lost in an arson fire. Note that the console has the Empire styling like the J. Tyson Forker Memorial Organ, although it is slightly smaller and has a much lighter finish with contrasting black keycheeks, fallboard and bolster.
