Last June,
As expected, we had an almost capacity
house on hand to welcome Chris and the atmosphere in the cinema was electric –
all in all a great afternoon of music and entertainment was enjoyed by all.
As always, I forwarded our artist the
audio recording of the show and as I think nearly all agree, the Hollywood
Wurlitzer is sounding the best it has ever been – added to that, as an
instrument, it now records very well.
Not long after sending the audio CDs to
Chris, I received an ecstatic email from him stating that with both the organ
and audience sounding so fantastic, he would dearly love to produce a “concert
highlights” commercial CD to meet the constant demands for “LIVE” concert
recordings.
“Live
at the Hollywood Again!” is the finished product and it is currently
selling like hot-cakes in the
The CD is very much music to go, being for the most part, very
lively, “happy” music and represents Chris’ live concerts exceptionally
well. What is more, for a normally
reserved Kiwi audience, our crowd that day were exceptionally active, singing
along here and there and thoroughly enjoying the menu of delights Chris was
serving up.
