XYLOPHONE Bars
Each bar is concave on the back. They are tuned lower by removing a little more wood from the curve.
Removing wood from the ends raises the pitch.
Most of the smaller bars also have diagonal cuts, sometimes in both directions, presumably to adjust
the voicing.
