Anatomy of a WurliTzer Theatre Pipe Organ

Chest Secondary Releathering Jig

The Dowels are drilled slightly off-center, actually more by accident than design, which allows them to act as cams and be turned for fine adjustment to get the pneumatic opening correct.

The pneumatic is positioned so that it protudes beyond the edge of the back board. This makes it possible to glue the leather to one side and the front while the pneumatic is held in the jig.

Six of these were mounted on one board for "production line" assembly.

These can be used for all the standard "Manual Chest" and 8' Tibia and Flute "Offset Chests", and they also work well for the Xylophone and Glock pneumatics.
