Looking at the botton of a Manual Chest style top board.
This is actually for the 8' Flute Offset Chest. It is the same design as the Manual/Main Chests, just the
spacing is greater which makes it easier to see.
The pallet is moved by the secondary pneumatic pushing the metal arm attached to the pallet into the open
position, shown here, which uncovers the slot which leads to the expansion chamber below the pipe hole.
The pallet pivots on the back edge of the pallet leather.
