Anatomy of a WurliTzer Theatre Pipe Organ
I did buy a number of arch hollow punches before I found this set and I have not used the arch punches since.
The handle allows one of the 3,4,6,8,10mm cutters and/or one of the 12/14/16/18/20mm cutters and/or one of the
22/24/26/28/30mm cutters to be attached at the same time. This allows 2 cutters to be used to cut washers in
one action, perfectly centered.
The pointer and spring, just below the handle, were added. I have seen a set that included these but this set did
not. The pointer slides through the 3mm cutter so that it is held in place when using larger sizes. The pointer
makes it much easier to line up on the center points marked out on the leather.
Imperial sized sets are also available for those who have not advanced to the metric system yet. Although
WurliTzer would not have been working in metric sizes I have not found a problem finding near enough equivalents.
