Clark Wilson A native of Ohio, Clark Wilson began his musical training at age nine. While growing up he accompanied numerous stage musicals and was organist at several churches. At this time he was listed in “Who’s Who in the Midwest” and “Men of Achievement”. He also holds Life Member status in the International Tri-M Music Honor Society and is listed in “Who’s Who in Executives and Professionals”. As well as performing concerts stateswide and internationally, Clark is a much-sought-after reed voicer and tonal finisher. He runs his own pipe organ business and is heavily in demand as a tonal consultant and finisher of both theatre and classical pipe organs, here and in the UK. He did major work on our own Mighty Wurlitzer during the winter shutdown in 2008. Organ enthusiasts have applauded the fine work that was done, bringing the organ close to its original specifications and magnificent sound. Clark has specialized for some years in providing organ accompaniment for silent movies and has many personally composed musical scores to his credit. As part of his performance, Mr Wilson will be accompanying the silent movie "The Cameraman", starring Buster Keaton. This movie was almost lost for all time until a copy was discovered in Paris and restored. Back to Concert Program - CLICK HERE |
