Trio Con Brio Trio Con Brio have made a definite impression on the organ world, consisting of three very different and remarkably talented people in their own right Donna Parker, Martin Ellis and Jonas Nordwall. Together, they bring the very essence of great music to a more eclectic audience, by combining classical organ pieces, easy listening and great theatre organ sounds. Donna Parker is a recent visitor to the Riviera and has been very much influenced by popular pizza parlor organ playing, making full use of the theatre organ's wide repertoire of sounds and special effects. Donna is a Director and Committee member of the American Theatre Organ Society, which takes up a lot of her time as well as playing worldwide. Martin Ellis holds the distinction of being the very first winner of the ATOS Young Organist Competition in 1986. His busy music career includes pizza parlor playing, church organist and choirmaster, and international fame as a fine classical organist at venues like Westminster Abbey in London, UK. He began with Trio Con Brio as the fourth man, understudying for Donna, Jonas and the late Tom Hazleton. His accomplishments are too many to be listed here but include international choral tours and associations with many world-renowned orchestras. Jonas Nordwall is internationally renowned, skilled in both traditional classical and modern/popular schools of musical performance. He has performed in North America, Japan, Europe, and China and has made eight concert tours to Australia. Jonas also has strong ties with ATOS, as principal coordinator for the ATOS Youth an Adult Educational Theatre Organ Summer Camp Program. His musical career has spanned over forty years. He played for King Gustav Adolf of Sweden at 16 and has been a major influence in latter 20th Century design and manufacturing of both pipe and electronic organs.
