MILLTIMBER STATION SITE


Milltimber station site. Comparing the old layout, on the left and on the right as it is today with the building of the Aberdeen Westering By-pass. Milltimber Brae
had been the only road southwards.


The entrance into Milltimber station site from Station Road. The path on the left lead to the station house and building.

Milltimber station house has been replaced by a large modern house. The platform building no longer exists.


Milltimber station at a busy moment with two suburban trains. One departing from the Up platform and another arriving in the

From the viaduct at the east end of Murtle station site. Looking westward towards Milltimber. Looks like a level crossing but is simply
controlling the private road to and from the Murtle Estate. The way to thje right is into the Alpaca farm.
