Area 9 Leader, Anthony Green comments....

Derrick has certainly got good results with this method A number of interesting questions arise, I am a bit surprised about the use of one shot stop bath stabiliser, as I would have thought these were indestructible except for a certain amount of carry-over? from only partially previous solutions a The stop bath sounds like Barry Priscott’s, but I don't know the function of Hydroquinone in the Conditioner.

Having noticed the use of Hydroquinone in the Conditioner, your editor too has wondered about its function in this bath.. However, referring to Conditioners I have also noticed that virtually all formulae using EDTA in the BLIX bath or even the
Colour developer use. a conditioner bath. The Photoworld Economy kit used. this bath between the Colour developer and the Bleach baths. This made me wonder if this may be worth considering when using Ron Knowles BLIX in his.’3 bath formula. Roy Salmons explained awhile back that the conditioner conditions the film for recieving the bleach bath. Perhaps someone could explain further.
