EDITORIAL

As reported last time, the MEETING takes place on Sunday 19th. of May. Time seems to be flying past since Christmas and the AGM will soon be upon us. Please try to let me know if you are definitely putting on some slides and/or exhibiting some prints. We need all your support and some advance notice would be appreciated. Full refreshments are being supplied by Mr. & Mrs. J. Telling of Wantage.

Didcot is easy to find either by road or rail and the Staff Club is a moments walk from the station. The main roads are either the M4 or the A34. The new M40 from Birmingham connects at Oxford.

Those who have any propositions to put forward at the AGM, should be sent in writing, with a seconder, to the Secretary at least 21 days before the meeting. Proposers and seconders must be members of the C.R.C. (Article 10, of the Constitution).

I hope that as many as possible will make the effort to attend. Come along and meet your fellow members and not only see their work, but also to enjoy talking with many who are known as names in the Newsletter or in the Club Slide Folio. We shall have the usual Slide and Print exhibits, and Stalls selling Films, Plastic Slide Mounts and many useful items to stock up with for the Summer season.

Members who weigh and Mix can order their chemicals from Ron Croad and collect them, saving you postage costs. Larger weights & measures could be shared by two or more members and the difference split between them.

Please check the CRC advert on page 16 for the latest Konica prices. Thankfully there is only a small rise this time. However present stock will be sold at old prices while stocks last, so please get in touch with Ron before ordering.

The article on page 12 is by John Ruffell LRPS APAGB FRSA, who is editor of Amateur Film Maker.

The Article on page 14 is by Jeff Griffin CENG MIMechE, who is a Leica Techni
cal Consultant & Bulletin Editor. We thank both gentlemen for allowing us to use these articles in the CRCN.
