LET`S CELABRATE IN STYLE

As you will know by now, the Club reaches its 21st birthday in 1992. The Club has gone through many changes since those early days, not only in the momentous technical changes seen with Colour Reversal film and Chemistry, but it went through a couple of very traumatic changes which it was lucky to survive. The first was when the CR50 film & Chemistry went off the market and the new E4, quickly followed by E6 which was marketed without a processing kit.

The second occured just as the 70`s recession took hold and nearly finished the Club off, but thanks to a completely new Committee it went from strength to strength which has let to the present where we have a very successful E6 Formula, Chemical & Film sales, along with the new look Newsletter.

To have reached 21 years of age after those turmoils really does deserve celebrating in the best possible way over the coming year, and especially at the 1992 A.G.M. & Open Meeting. Your Committee will be looking at how this can best be done, but we hope too that all of you will try to contribute in some way. As Editor I would like to hear any stories of how YOU first got involved with the Club, what kind of equipment, film, chemistry etc. that you may have used, and not to forget any funny stories of incidents/accidents and failures etc, in learning about your hobby. Perhaps people you have known through your membership and contacts. Anything that will interest other members and add to the history of the Club as you know it.

Every effort will be made to make the 1992 A.G.M. & Open Meeting even more interesting and entertaining as possible. If you have put off attending in the past perhaps you can start planning now, to dust off that slide programme, Set of prints, `OLD` equipment to put on view or simply a `TALK` to share your views and experiences. We shall be interested in your earliest `failures` as well as your latest success. It will be a great help if you can let me know at the earliest convenience how many of you intend to come along and help me make a working programme for the days events, and of course, to know how much food & refreshments will be required. Please let Myself, Secretary or your Area Co-ordinator know as soon as possible.
