EDITORIAL

H E L P!

My job as your `editor` is becoming more difficult, as my `IN` tray refuses to be filled with fresh copy. Of course, much of the copy `should come from the `membership`, but only a couple of regulars kindly keep me supplied and it is difficult for one person to keep turning up new and interesting articles.

Likewise, with my work commitments I have little time for photography and home processing and, as you will read inside, I have just managed to do one W&M session this year so far.

To help fill these pages I have made up two pages on that experience and also include two pages with the `modified` E6 formula by Ron Croad, Ron Knowles, as well as his regular Round - A- Bout columns, has come up trumpts with a second article `re-vampted` from material gleaned from Rita & Major Pearle, but apart from that and our Secretary`s Notes the rest had to be
found by your editor.

This sad state of afairs has been going on for just over a year and is getting very serious. I would appreciate if you `ALL` would try and help to find some interesting items. They don`t have to be lengthy, Eg. the What`s New pages show how small pieces
can be tagged together to form larger pages.

I need enough copy to fill at least 13 pages each issue. It is `YOUR` Newsletter and without some help it will quickly fold up. I have tried to improve the overall presentation by using a computer either on a Word Processing Prog. and/or a Desk Top Publishing Prog. but without enough copy this will be to little avail. Please Rally round. Your help is greatly required.

-- APOLOGIES --

My apologies for the numerous errors in the July N/L. This was due to my computer`s disc drive packing up. The disc drive was replaced quickly but it proved incompatible, and it suddenly erased all the files from the disc. This was when the copy should have been at the printers and I had to re-type the whole lot again.

To add to the problems my Spelling Checker didn`t work with a different Word Processing Prog. I was trying. However, I now have a new W.P. Prog. with it`s own `English` Dictionary & Spelling Checker, so `hopefully` there should be fewer errors from now on. Providing, of course, you send me copy to work on!
