CONTENTS | EDITORIAL Here we are into yet another year, and one with many difficult changes ahead as we struggle to make sense of the political meaning on going into the EEC, struggling with what to do about the recession and the ever increasing prices of everything that affects our lives, work and hobby. Meanwhile technology marches on paving ways of improving life & conditions, but makes you wonder where it is all leading. Within our own hobby the case continues on Digital Image versus Film which, of course `worries` many of us. While digital is gaining grounds it has a long way to to reach the quality of film., and until the next generation of High Definition TV & Video really takes off I think film will remain a great favourite. But in time it will eventually overtake us, but we can still look forward to enjoying our hobby for quite some time yet. THE C.R.C. YEAR AHEAD The 1993 AGM & Open Meeting will take place at the BR Staff Club, Didcot on Sunday 16th of May. Now is the time to look out a set of Slides, Prints and possible article to sell at the stalls. While the Committee work towards getting things off the ground it is `YOU` the members who make it enjoyable. As we go into 1993 with a new Hon. Librarian & Folio Secretary we wish you all a very Happy and Content New Year. |
