ERRATUM, (Handbook).
Please note that the procedure for making up Percentage Solutions should be as follows:-
1) Place apprx. half the required water in mixing-in cylinder.
2) Add required amount of chemical and stir until dissolved.
3) Top up water to the required level. i.e. 100 x weight or measure of chemical.
Note; Try and store in small brown glass bottle and fill to top.
Paragraph 3 --- Potassium iodide. This should read 1.0gm Pot. Iodide in 100ml Water mixed as
above gives 1% Solution.
Take 10ml. and make up to 100ml with water as above to make 0.1%.Editor.
