Over the year just gone I built a couple of large fish ponds in my back garden with a view to photographing (wildlife), and I came across some interesting pH meters.

The first is a range of pocket meters by "Hanna" which includes:- pH electronic pen, price £39.99. Waterproof pH meter-micro processor price £49.99. I have recently bought two of the new Jessop Portaflash series 3 flash heads for studio. The heads I got are the Portaflash series 3 336 VM which is the hub of the system. It has a guide No. of 38M ISO 100, 3 way variable flash output, full, half & quarter power, and a built in 60 watt modelling lamp. These units are mains powered, the head is 104mm dia and 160mm long and weighs only 700gms. I also got some barn doors, snoot, soft box and tilt brackets. I must say that this is a superb system and portable, the 336 VM head costs only £59.99, the soft box £15.99, barn doors £8.99, snoot £12.99 and tilt heads around £9.00 each.
