ERIC CLARKE

It is with regret that we report the passing of a long standing Club stalwart, Eric Clarke. Eric was Area 17 Co-ordinator for a number of years and worked hard to keep his members informed by producing many interesting Local Newsletters. He gave up as Co-ordinator a couple of years back, when Area 17 became part of Area 22, still keeping in touch with your Editor and passing on bits of news.

Eric had gone through heart surgery but came back fighting, keeping up many of his interests. Indeed, it was while out hunting that he collapsed and died, on his beloved, North Devon Moors, at Braunston, near Barnstaple.

The Executive Committee send our condolances to Eric`s wife and family and Best Wishes for the future.

LETTERS

The last two issues have seen an increase in the letters to the Editor, and which help to fill these pages. This is most welcome and I hope that it will continue. If you have`nt enough news to fill a page, possibly a letter will suffice. Your letters have also given our Technical Advisors something to work on and to exchange their knowledge and skills on to others, which, of course, is what the C.R.C. is all about.

All letters are welcome, even if it is only to grumble, but as long as it is neither, personal, or un-productive, your thoughts will be aired. (Editor`s address & phone number, on page 16)
