LATE NEWS... NEWSLETTER PRINTER CHANGE

At the Executive Committee Meeting at Worcester on the 24th of April 93, Kevin Craske of TFM put forward a proposal that TFM is now able to offer considerable savings on having the CRCN photocopied on their new machines. The deal, as well as offering a guarantee of the printing costs over the next few years also takes on the distribution of the Newsletters, directly to the Area Co-ordinators. Therefore it will be important that TFM know exactly the number of copies each Area requires, including any spares otherwise Areas will find themselves short. However as Sandra is also the CRC Membership Secretary, this shouldn't prove any problem as long as Co-ordinators keep her informed of their membership changes.

Although I knew of the proposal by kevin, I was unable to attend the Worcester Meeting, like members, I didn't know the change had actually taken place until receiving the latest issue of the Inter-News sheet. Since taking on as Editor I, and the Club, have enjoyed a very friendly and helpful relationship with Barry Angell and his staff at Osprey, in Reading, Berkshire and I am sure you would like to join me in giving a big thank you to Barrie and his staff for their eleven years of service and wish them well for the future.

I trust too that our dealings with TFM will be as equally successful an that there will be little difference between having the newsletters photocopied rather than printed. However we wish TFM well in this new business.

Bill Reid (C.R.C. Editor).
