SECRETARY'S NOTES
This is the last CRC News that you will receive this year. How time flies! Because weeks seem to disappear before you really notice, it is time to start thinking about the next Annual General Meeting. As we only get about ten per cent of our membership able to turn up it is wise to hold the Club AGM in a different part of the country each time, in theory giving different members a chance to come along to air their views. Consequently could you give some thought to a venue. There may be a suitable small hall near you which the Club could hire for the required time. Please get in touch with either myself or Bill Reid if you can suggest somewhere. Also of course we have to put forward names for the various Committee posts. If you want to have a go in one of the driving seats, all you have to do is volunteer and your name will be put forward. Don’t be shy.
Club Subs. are due for the coming season — as you know our financial year runs from October 1st to September 30th. Please send your subs to your Area Co-ordinator, and don’t forget to make cheques payable to ‘The Colour Reversal Club’ and not to any individual. The year’s subs are £8 U.K. or £10 for overseas members. If you don’t want to join us for the coming season please let your co-ordinator know; if possible do say why (preferably without being rude!) so that those of us who are giving our free time to the Club can know where we might be going wrong.
Area Co-ordinators remember that our Treasurer is Margaret Salmons, 29 Roumania Crescent, Craig-y-don, LLANDUDNO LL3O 1UN, to whom the portion of subs for the Club’s central fund should be sent. (Cheques made payable to The Colour Reversal Club).
As we are now hurtling towards the festive season, may I, on behalf of the Committee wish all members the Compliments of the Season (when it arrives!).
