Our Meeting for
February will again be at Thomas Worthington High School. We
will first have a brief business meeting. After this will be a
guest artist to be announced, followed by open console. We will
again be planning to have refreshments backstage near the outer,
doors, so bring any food or beverages that you prefer.

Last month's
meeting began with the announcement of Martha Sprout as a new
board member filling the expired term of Herman Thompson. The
board reelected last year's officers to their same positions:
|
President - John
Adams
|
Vice President -
John Burns
|
Secretary - Emma
Soiu
|
Treasurer - Mark
Williams.

Discussions focussed primarily on
fund raising for a total rebuild of the chapter's Wurlitzer. The
fund raising brochure was shown to those present. It was noted
that it would be desirable to show a strong financial commitment
on the part of the membership to any potential corporate donors.
Members of the board have recognized their role in taking the
lead in contributions, with pledges so far of $5,000.
