ABERDEEN STREETS A-Z
SCOTLAND
"X"
Not really an 'X' but I dont know the
name of this lane. It is at the junction of Bon Accord Crescent and Old Mill
Road,
and goes down to the gardens near Springbank Terrace (?)
I could not find the name of this lane,
off Rosemount Place. Another unknown.
Not X to the letter, but I know where Two Mile Cross is in Kaimhill /Garthdee.(SeamountLass)
Think the second one's called Argyll Place Lane, silversurfer. (Citizen)
Here's an un-named lane that links Hayton Road to Kilgour. I think Logie may know this route rather well.

I think that the tunnel is known as 'muggers alley' ,and you are a very brave man going down there with a camera ! (Silversurfer)
It was at 0800 on a Saturday Morning and no-one around there was up. As soon as people started appearing I skedaddled. (Haytoner)
This is a lane that runs from Northwards from Western Road parallel to the
railway track. Maybe this one should be in Silversurfers
Closes and Lanes Topic. There was a shop at the end of it in the 50s and 60s.
That's a lane that I can't remember. Is
it fairly new ? Where does it lead to ? Is the other side of the railway line
not Hayton Road, the steep
bit that goes up to the railway bridge at Don Street ? If so, why is this lane
not steep also ? A wee lane that poses so many questions !
