EDITORIAL Another quiet quarter with very few of you getting in touch and making copy for this issue to run a bit short. I really do need to hear from more of you. However, in spite of that thanks to Alan Greeley and Jose Bellido we have two very interesting articles with both colour and black & white prints to give excellent pictorial presentation. Our main printer, Kevin Craske is making some changes and I am now able to send him the CRCN Copy on CD. This allows him to print the pages directly from the files rather than make an inter-copy from the usual hard-copy. It is hoped that you will notice the difference and that we will have seen the end to the annoying ‘scanning’ lines that has spoiled an otherwise good printing job. Likewise, I am surprised at the lack of response to the new CRC Web Site. I really do need your reactions and can only correct errors and improve presentation and page links, if I know what results you are getting at your end. I am slowly learning as we go and I have found that my computer will always find the files and graphics, even when on the Internet, so it may be that ‘you’ are not seeing everything as I see the pages. The web site is quite interactive with plenty of ‘links’ to search around. It also makes it easier and faster to publish updates to those on the internet and for you to respond as quickly. The Web Site will only improve if you let me know your likes and dislikes. The address, again! Htpp://members.madasafish.com/~colourreversalclub It is hope that this newsletter will be published in time to give late publicity to the AGM and Open Meeting which takes place at Briston, Norfolk, on Saturday, 28th of April. The event is just around the corner and I am sure Sandra and Kevin will appreciate hearing from you ad have a good idea how many of you to expect and what print or slide presentations will be taking place. Bring along a friend and help make our 30th Anniversary a great success. The AGM will be utmost important as we have a few positions to fill. Sadly, John Pearle wishes to drop out as Secretary and Geoff Lowe and Rita Pearle from the Committee. Not always easy positions to fill but without them the Club can’t continue it’s business correctly, so please give some thought to offering your help. 2001-2002 SUBSCRIPTIONS DUE The annual subscriptions are now due. For yet another year the payment remains the same and represents very good value for money. Please make your cheques out to the Colour Reversal Club and send them to your Area Co-ordinator, at the earliest convenience. Your membership is very valued and we hope that you will remain with us. |
