After the loss we suffered early in the year, it is my sad duty to report that Area 4 Leader, Peter Calvert, died suddenly on the 1st of March, from a thrombosis and heart attack. Peter was an excellent Leader who kept things interesting for our North East of England members, after taking over from the late, Cecil Jones. He will be sadly missed. The Colour Reversal Club sends it`s condolences to Peter`s wife and family.

Our thanks go to member, David Morrell, who has taken over temporarily until someone takes on as Leader.

My apologies for getting the date of the Didcot Open Meeting wrong. Please note that it is on SUNDAY the 29th of MAY. Full details of the day`s proposed activities on page 15. Much effort is going in to make this an even more interesting day with two local Camera Clubs putting on a print exhibition along with static displays and stalls. All we ask of YOU is to try and come along in as many numbers as possible.

The sale of Club film has now exceeded £1000. Due to the popularity of this offer the supplies at the old price has depleted. Our apologies to those who may have been asked for excess payment.
