A.G.M. & MEETING

The AGM and Meeting is a `Key` feature of our calander as it starts off our season with hopes for days out in fine weather putting our skills into gear and gaining further enjoyment from picture taking and home processing.

The AGM settles the Club`s financial position and sets a Directive for the year. The meeting helps dust off the bleak months of winter and lets many members meet each other in friendly chatter and sets the mood for the rest of the year. The more members who can attend the more democratic the whole Club becomes.

The meetings at Didcot started at the same time. They are not only measured by the pleasant photographs and slides that are brought together, but by the pleasure of meeting people whom friendships have built up over the years. It is for this that I was sad that this was to be the last meeting here for a while. However as Didcot is on again next year I look forward to meeting you all again and perhaps some new faces.

20 YEARS OLD!!!

It will be 20 years next year since the Club was formed as the CR50 Club. This is quite a milestone and deserves to be celebrated over 1992. Through the N/L you could tell of your earliest involvement with the Club, or equipment/film/chemicals you used in those days. The meeting at Weatherby will be the ideal time for us to put a special effort to attend and put on plenty of presentations.

10 YEARS!!!

April 1992 will also be my tenth year as your Editor, though I must admit to wondering where the time has gone. It also means I have produced more N/L`s than any previous Editor. It has seen changes in presentation from the old Wax Stencil & Duplicator, to using an electronic typewriter combined with a professional printing system, and now using a powerful Word Processing programme and printer with my computer. Of course, this would mean nothing if it wasn`t for the interesting copy that members keep sending in and I thank you all for that and hope that you will continue this good work.
