EDITORIAL

On page 4 our Chairman apologises for his part in the delay to this newsletter. However it is only fair to add that the lack of available copy has been the slowest in a long time and only came together in the last 2-3 weeks. We really do need you to keep in contact and send me any copy you may have, no matter how short. The Newsletter needs your support, very seriously.

As you will also read, there has been a serious dispute going on between your Executive Committee and Area 22`s Committee, over some constitutional changes that the E.C. has passed\proposed in the search to update the way the Club is run, plus a clash between the CRC`s Constitution and Area 22`s `local` Constitution. Sadly that Committee went into a very `defensive` stance. I received two letters for publication but as they showed a number of incorrect statements I decided against publication at this time, so that further communications may be had to avoid any embarrassment to the authors, but members will be given the facts and outcome as soon as possible. I find it very sad that this has created conflict between people who have shared excellent relations all these years and trust that every effort will be made to resolve the situation in an equitable manner and get back to the main role, of enjoying our membership and club activities.
