This group of troupers get more confidant each year that I have seen them at the Tivoli Open Day. This year they gave
a nice  interpretation of songs from the musical Guy's & Dolls

This trio did quite a good job of the very tricky number 'Fugue For Tinhorns' from Guy's & Dolls, which is one of my favourites
favourites from this musical. It's a song in the round and gets's quite complicated as it progresses. They got a little out of
step near the end of it but at least accepted it and didn't try to bluff thgeir way out of it and let it stop naturally, which was
the right thing to do.  Besides, who knows how many tries the film trio may have got wrong before the final cut was accepted!
This was a live peformance and I credit this trio for their effort at attempting it.

I hadn't heard of Zombie Prom before and would think that it is one of the numerous cartoon film musicals such
as The Little Mermaid etc. However, after a Google search I discovered that it was both a stage and 'real' film musical.

While the numbers were new to me I was quite impressed with the performances. They each gave their all and

This little lady has a big and powerful voice and gave an excellent performance

Overall this was a fine performance of the musical Zombie Prom. However, and this is merely a personal opinion in that why does everyone have to sing as if they are in a Waltz Disney
cartoon musical? This type of over warbled singing style gets away with it when viewing an over-coloured cartoon film but on the live stage, and especially a none-American live stage
it sounds too 'twee'. They all have nice voices and I am sure would sound just as good if they sang in their own natural styles.

With the limitations of the temporary stage set up for these Open Days and the fact that it is a live show with each act following one another quite rapidly, things can and do go wrong
at times. With so many really powerful songs and singers in this group they were a little too close to the microphones and it became rather loud at times. However, this is not to criticise
the really nice performances that took place during this performance.
