EDITORIAL
It’s been a long time coming but what an excellent summer it is turning out to be, even possibly a U.K. Record. Those lucky enough to have their annual leave during this period should have had many opportunities to snap some very colourful transparencies. Please share them with us in future newsletters.
It has taken me two months but the CRC Web Site is now fully working and updated (except for the Member’s Handbook, which is still in progress.) The web site is hosted by www.theatreorgans.com and is attached to my Ken Griffin web site home page, at:
http://theatreorgans.com/hammond/keng/kenhtml/gkhome.htm
But you can go directly to the web site at:
http://theatreorgans.com/hammond/keng/kenhtml/crcnew.htm/index.htm
It’s rather a long internet address but you can copy and paste it into your ‘favourites’ folder and simply click on it whenever you want to go to the web site.
The CRC Home page is open to everyone but the newsletter pages are in a secure section, where you can look at past newsletters from No.47 to 109, and require a password to enter. This is for fully paid up members only. Write or e-mail me and on checking that you are in our files as paid up I will send you the password, which will change every July. There are also some interactive pages such as the Area News section, where you can take part and enter your own thoughts on how things are going. Please take advantage of them and help keep them up-to-date and active.
In this issue as well as a full report of the Annual General Meeting at Llandudno on May the 4th, we continue to show the working of Silver film and Digital Image as we present articles with some more colour pictures of the latest Slide Folio and a visit to Paris. Brian Asquith gives the latest Library List, to take advantage of and Alan Greeley describes a Tech Pan Developer.
We report the sad passing of Albert Raymond of A.R. Chemicals
and conclude with an article on Lens Comparison.
