EDITORIAL

A get well soon, to Ron Knowles, who has been through an operation for cataracts in both eyes. Ron has suffered from this for some time and your Editor has been pleased to help him to keep his “Here & There” column going. A few issues back I typed out the stencils from Ron’s written comments, but as the problem got worse the copy for the April issue. was typed from a tape cassette which Ron sent me.

It hasn’t been easy trying to make out the article to look as if it had been done by Ron himself, but I hope both yourselves and Ron found it acceptable.

Thanks to Oliver Barron for keeping me informed on Ron’s progress and the latest is that all seems to be going well and we wish Ron a speedy recovery and hope that it wont be too long before we see the return of his interesting articles.

Have a nice Summer season with you camera and processing and please dent forget to keep some copy coming in for future newsletters. If you haven’t renewed you subs by now please give it thought as from this July issue you may not receive any more reminders. We would also like to hear from anyone interested in the positions of Publicity Officer and Secretary.
